Terms of Use
These Terms govern your use of Push Thru (the “App”), including the website and any mobile builds. By using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. This is a plain-language template for shipping readiness, not legal advice.
1. The service
Push Thru is a casual game where you push a button, track scores and levels, and optionally compete with friends and groups. Features may change, break, or be removed at any time.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher minimum age in your country) to use the App. By using the App you confirm you meet that requirement.
3. Accounts
- You may play as a guest (anonymous) account or link an optional provider (e.g. GitHub) when available.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You can request account deletion in the App (Settings → Account) when online.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Cheat, exploit bugs, spam leaderboards, or automate the game in a way that harms others’ experience
- Harass, threaten, or impersonate others
- Upload illegal, hateful, sexual content involving minors, or otherwise prohibited content if chat features are enabled
- Attempt to access other users’ data, reverse engineer the backend for abuse, or overload the service
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
5. User content (if chat is enabled)
If community posts or friend messaging are turned on in your build, you retain ownership of content you submit, but grant us a license to host, display, and moderate it as needed to run the App. We may remove content or restrict features without notice. Public posts may be visible to all online players.
A given release may ship without chat. Friends, groups, and scores can still work without messaging.
6. Leaderboards & game data
Scores and ranks are provided “as is.” We may reset, correct, or remove entries that appear fraudulent or broken. There are no cash prizes or gambling features in the base game.
7. Intellectual property
The App’s code, design, and branding are owned by the publisher or its licensors. You may not copy the App for commercial redistribution without permission. “Push Thru” branding as used in the App is for this product only.
8. Third-party services
The App relies on third parties (for example Supabase for auth/database and hosting providers). Their terms and outages may affect availability.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE PUBLISHER IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, SCORES, OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
11. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify the publisher against claims arising from your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms, to the extent allowed by law.
12. Changes & termination
We may update these Terms or discontinue the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted. We may terminate access at any time for violations or service shutdown.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction of the publisher (to be set before commercial launch), without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Local consumer rights that cannot be waived still apply.
